Ellis Wins GIA DETC 2007 Distinguished Service Award

From GIA, Carlsbad, Calif. - Brook Ellis, GIA’s vice president of Education, has been presented with the “2007 Distance Education and Training Council’s Distinguished Service Award.”
Michael P. Lambert, executive director of DETC, said, “This honor is given to individuals in the distance education field for their outstanding service that has enhanced the image of distance education or significantly furthered the work of the DETC.”
“This is one of the highest and most coveted awards in distance education world-wide. In the DETC’s 81-year-history, only themost outstanding leaders havereceived the award."
