Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Engaged?

It's been less than a year since the ink dried on her divorce papers, but rumor has it that Kim Kardashian may be close to tying the knot again! The reality starlet and her current beau, outspoken hip hop star Kanye West, are currently vacationing in Paris, and have been spotted venturing into several high-end designer engagement ring and jewelry shops. While the two have only taken their relationship public in April, tabloids have caught Kim and Kanye together dating back nearly six months, which in Hollywood terms is nearly an eternity, and certainly plenty long enough to be contemplating popping the question!

Watch the Throne fame, wants to impress his new girl, he's going to have to pull out all the stops when it comes to the engagement ring. After all, Kim Kardashian's previous ring rocketed immediately to the top of every "best celebrity engagement rings" list when it was unveiled in early 2011. With 20 carats of top-quality diamonds, including a staggering 16-carat center stone, Kim's ring was front page ring throughout the country.
But despite the whopping, multi-million-dollar price tag on the engagement ring, and the lucrative six-hour wedding special on E! News, Kim's marriage to basketball players Kris Humphries lasted just two months before the 30-year-old star filed divorce papers. In the inevitable media frenzy that followed the short-lived marriage, Kim claimed that she would not be getting remarried anytime soon, although she still believed in love. Now, not even one year later, Kim's fans are praying that this time, Kim may have finally found happiness with a star nearly as famous, outspoken and unabashedly divisive as she is: Kanye West. In a recent interview with Oprah Winfrey, Kim explained that unlike her previous romantic partners, Kanye is several years older than her--and that she credits the age difference with the seriousness of their relationship.
On Monday, Kim and Kanye cruised through Paris in a Lamborghini, with the top down, allowing fans to cluster around the car and snap photos. Followers of Kim's Twitter account marveled at the ridiculously romantic details of the trip: aerial views of the City of Light, a romantic wine cellar dinner, baskets of flowers, a suite at the Four Seasons Paris, brunch at a chic Parisian cafe, and a private tour of the Eiffel Tower. The Lamborghini itself was a spur-of-the-moment purchase: Kim and Kanye walked into a car dealership in Paris and drove away in in a few minutes later!
So is Kanye really going to buy Kim an engagement ring? Will the reality star be a little more hesitant to say "yes" this time around? Most importantly--will the engagement ring that marks the union of "Kimye" be more impressive or more unique than Kris Humphries'--and can it possibly be bigger?
If we had to take bets on a Kim and Kanye engagement ring, we'd have to bet on a pretty whopping center stone--10 carats, at least--but a round shape, to distinguish it from Kim's previous ring. Then we'd have to add a pretty healthy dose of bling--let's say at least 5 carats of diamond embellishment on the setting and band. Platinum is super hot right now, plus modern and trendy enough to fit in with Kim's style. Kanye West has become a pretty successful designer in the last few years, so chances are he will opt for custom design, taking his favorite design elements and having them incorporated into a diamond engagement ring for Kim that will impress even the most diamond-studded girl in Hollywood.
