I had spent a lot of time researching diamonds online, and had narrowed my choices down to a few vendors.
In the end I went with Whiteflash.com and I have absolutely no regrets, and nothing but positive things to say about this company.
I had first registered on their site, and had a few stones saved for future reference when I received a call from Traci at Whiteflash. All I can say is that from day one I felt like a VIP. There was no pressure at any point to purchase during the process. She looked at the stones on my list, and had a personal recommendation, and then had a gemologist examine each one to determine which ones showed as the whitest, since they were all in the same color class. She then sent me close-up photos of the finalists with a recommendation again.
Every staff member from Whiteflash was quick to reply, either by email or phone, Traci even allowed me to call on off days and would answer my emails during her thanksgiving holiday as well!
I asked a ton of questions throughout the buying process, and felt very comfortable the entire way. They even arranged to ship the wedding band to me directly, and then had the engagement ring ship to a different city where I was planning to vacation and propose, even arranging it so a friend of mine could pickup the ring from FedEx.
I highly recommend Traci and Whiteflash, and if there are any other jewelry needs I won't hesitate to call upon them again.
I ended up with a 1.5 carat AGS triple-0 A Cut Above round brilliant, in the platinum Harmony pave setting, and it's like a flashlight on my fianc?©es finger. She can't take her eyes off it anywhere we go. I had them change the clasp on the setting so that it was exactly what we wanted as well.
For any Canadians out there with any reservations about ordering online south of the border, don't hesitate, there are no brokerage fees, just HST collected when picked up at FedEx, and you will not find these quality of cuts easily, and definitely not for their prices.
Needless to say, I easily give Whiteflash 5 stars.
