WJA Names Anna Martin as 2007 Hall of Fame Recipient

Anna Martin of ABN AMRO has been named the Women’s Jewelry Association’s 2007 “Hall of Fame” recipient.
Martin is a past president of WJA and a board member for six years. She is senior VP of the America’s Diamond, Jewelry & Precious Metals group at ABN AMRO Bank in New York City, a leading player in diamond and jewelry industry finance. She is a member of the board of directors of the Gemological Institute of America, Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America and Jewelers for Children. She is a League of Honor sovereign of the GIA, a member of the Diamond Industry Steering Committee’s “Diamond Hall of Fame,” recipient of the “Premier Patron” award from the Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association and received the Community Acievement Award from American ORT’s Jewelry Chapter.
Over 40 years at ABN AMRO Martin significantly increased the bank’s diamond lending and diversified the portfolio to include jewelry manufacturers and retailers. She will be honored at the WJA’s annual Awards for Excellence gala at Pier Sixty in New York City on July 29, 2007.
