Diamonds are graded on a color scale established by the (GIA).
The scale ranges from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow). Fancy colors refer to diamonds with hues like pink, blue, green, yellow and very rarely red. Fancy colors are not included in this color scale and are considered extremely rare.
