The American Gem Society Laboratories (AGS) has appointed Joe Van Ells as director of gemological services. Van Ells has served as large diamond grading manager and gemology instructor for Stuller, a gemstone buyer and quality assurance manager for QVC Shopping Network and a gemological instructor for GIA.
Peter Yantzer, executive director of AGS Laboratories commented; “Joe shares the lab’s philosophy for setting the highest standards for diamond grading. He exemplifies the AGS Laboratories’ benchmark for excellence.”
