Record-Setting Spending Occuring Online

According to comScore Networks, Reston VA, consumer online retail spending on US Websites reached a record-setting $647 million on Dec 4. This represents a 26 percent increase over the corresponding day last year.
During the first 35 days of the season this year total online retail spending reached $13.7 billion, which is a 25 percent increase compared to corresponding days in 2005.
