Whiteflash throws PRE-VMA BASH with Missy Elliott and Ciara
To celebrate their multiple award nominations for the 2006 MTV VMA Awards this year, Missy Elliott and Ciara partnered with Whiteflash.com, a premier online diamond e-tailer, to host a pre-VMA party on August 29, 2006. Stylish New York tastemakers and celebrities like Missy Elliott, Ciara, Chamillionaire, Topher Grace, Miss USA, Miss Teen USA, Charlotte Ronson and DJ AM partied the night away to the tunes of DJ Sky Nellor at the luxuriously styled Cipriani’s 23rd Street for this exclusive star-studded event.

The highlight of the evening was the Whiteflash.com “Dripping in Diamonds Suite” at the center of the party. Bathed in brilliant spotlights, the suite was decorated with one-of-a-kind Whiteflash.com jewelry as well as a selection Zydo diamond jewelry (sold on Whiteflash’s web site) so that VIPs could dress themselves in diamonds and wear them for the remainder of the party. All the celebrities marveled at the quality of the jewelry and top picks of the night included a Whiteflash.com 5.17-carat “champaigne” ring (worth roughly $100,000) and a Zydo 3.89 carat diamond and turquoise butterfly pendant necklace (worth roughly $16,900). Other breath taking styles included an $85,800 14-carat diamond drop necklace from Whiteflash.com and an exquisite cognac and white diamond necklace, earring and ring suite worth $56,500 from Zydo. In total, over one million dollar’s worth of diamonds were displayed at the party, truly making it a “gem” of an evening.

Before party goers were whisked away to the latest New York hotspot Stereo night club for the after-party, Miss USA, Miss Teen USA, and Charlotte Ronson scored diamond and sapphire bangles (valued at $4000) and Ciara, Missy Elliott, Chamillionaire and Topher Grace received diamond and white gold dog tags courtesy of Whiteflash.com.
