AGS Diamonds Certified for Ideal 0 Diamonds Grading Report

Every diamond and/or ring that is sold by Whiteflash.com is primarily inspected by our in-house experts. In addition, loose diamonds and/or any jewelry item set with certified diamonds are personally inspected by an independent appraiser who issues a signed Letter of Verification confirming:

  1. The diamond has been professionally examined and matches the accompanying grading report from AGS, GIA or other labratory.
  2. Setting description.
  3. Approximate retail replacement value.

This Letter of Verification accompanies your purchase, confirming the contents of your package and ensuring your secure shopping experience.*

AGS Certified Diamonds

AGS diamonds are graded on the American Gem Society's 0-10 scale.  An ideal AGS diamond is a 0, and the diamond of the lowest quality is graded a 10.  An AGS diamond grading report provides the laboratory’s opinion on a loose diamond's quality.  It is different from an appraisal in that it does not provide information on the worth of the gem.

GIA Certified Diamonds

GIA diamonds are graded on the Gemological Institute of America’s 5-tiered scale.  An Excellent GIA diamond is their top grade, and the diamond of the lowest quality is graded Poor.  A GIA diamond grading report provides the laboratory’s opinion on the loose diamond's quality.  It is different from an appraisal in that it does not provide information on the worth of the gem.

* The letter of verification is intended as a courtesy, not as a substitute for a full third-party appraisal, and is not included with orders shipped to independent appraisers.

If lost, or if a duplicate copy is required, the original letter can be re-issued and sent by regular mail for a $15.00 service charge.
