Radiant Cut Diamond

Radiant diamonds feature a rectangular outline with modified brilliant style faceting configuration. It is similar to the princess cut and cushion cut, except with flat angular corners forming an octagonal outline. The radiant is kind of a hybrid having the shape and outline of an emerald cut but with more sparkle. It is distinct from the emerald cut by virtue of its brilliant style faceting and has a very different “flavor” compared to the step cut emerald or asscher cut. Radiant cut diamonds combine very nicely in designs with other angular shapes such as trilliants and princess cuts.
