What is included with my purchase?

When you purchase a diamond from Whiteflash the price is net and includes your diamond and the diamond certificate, a letter of verification from an independent graduate gemologist appraiser and one free FEDEX shipping.  You will also receive the Whiteflash ACA toolkit complimentary ($75 retail value) with the purchase of an Whiteflash ACA diamond only. The Whiteflash ACA toolkit comes in a carrying case and includes tweezers, diamond polishing cloth and a magnifying Hearts & Arrows viewer embossed with the Whiteflash Beyond Ideal logo.

Our standard purchase benefit package includes Free Shipping, Free Verification, 10-Day Money Back, One-Year buy back, Lifetime Trade Up and immediate eligibility for future rewards in our Brilliant Diamond referral gift program (see terms and conditions).

Will Whiteflash price-match?

We believe 'Price Matching' is a balance between the item being considered and services offered. These include things like information and photographs, letter of verification, secure shipping, warranty, buy-back, lifetime trade-up & other purchase benefits. Particulars must be considered on a case by case basis.

Can I place a diamond on hold?

To hold a diamond we must have a credit card number on file. The diamond will be reserved until close of the next business day, at which time it must be released unless it has been paid-for. We cannot guarantee the diamond will be available after that time. Clients are permitted one hold per transaction unless purchasing multiple diamonds.

Do you offer standard discounts?

If you elect to pay with a wire transfer we offer a standard wire discount of 2% off of the price listed on the Whiteflash website.

Do you offer special discounts?

If you are an existing customer our Brilliant-Diamond referral gift program was designed with you in mind. Other special offers may be available. Prices listed through other websites or promotions represent the bank wire transfer price and are subject to our pricing policy. Terms and conditions apply on all special offers and no two offers may be combined unless expressly permitted.

Does Whiteflash collect sales tax?

If you pick up the ring at Whiteflash or if it is shipped to a location in Texas your purchase is subject to 8.25% sales tax.  Customers outside Texas are responsible for reporting or adhering to their own state or country tax laws.

Do you accept trade-ins if the diamond was purchased elsewhere?

No.

Do you accept trade-ins if the diamond was purchased from Whiteflash?

Yes. We have a lifetime trade-up policy. We will credit you with 100% of the original diamond purchase price towards a diamond of greater value in same shape and graded buy like lab, less original shipping fees. Lifetime upgrade policy applies to all of our Whiteflash ACAs and selected Expert Selections. Lifetime upgrade applies as a one on one basis i.e. one diamond to one diamond per upgrade.

What kind of insurance do you recommend?

We strongly encourage you to purchase insurance through one of the following companies that insure jewelry; Chubb or Jewelers Mutual, or to get a rider on your home owners insurance. One of the unique Whiteflash purchase benefits included with any diamond is a letter of verification from a Houston independent appraiser describing the item with an estimated retail value. This document, along with the original laboratory grading report, is suitable for most insurance companies.

Will Whiteflash send a diamond to an appraiser of my choosing before I pay?

In many cases.  The appraiser must be completely independent, hold certain credentials, have membership in one of the professional societies we recognize, provide information on security and be able to demonstrate appropriate insurance coverage.  Appraiser schedules, holiday closings and internal factors impact our ability to extend a pre-pay option.  If available, the client will be charged for shipping/insurance to and from the appraiser up-front.  Should the client purchase the diamond we will apply those shipping charges as a credit towards the final price, unless the diamond is being sent back to us for setting; in that case we set the diamond and ship it to the client afterwards as the one free shipping.  Some customers elect to pay the full purchase price up-front so they can take the diamond from the appraiser when he/she is finished.  Please contact us to discuss your specific situation.

Are Whiteflash diamonds conflict-free?

All diamonds at Whiteflash have been purchased from legitimate sources uninvolved in funding conflicts and in compliance with United Nations Resolutions. We have ensured that our diamonds are conflict free based on personal/written guarantees and declarations required by law, provided to us by our diamond suppliers.

Pricing Policy

Despite WhiteFlash’s best efforts, a small number of the items listed on our website may be mispriced or subject to error. Prior to shipment of every order, we verify the pricing, and will do the following if we discover a mispriced item:

• If an item’s correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item.
• If an item’s correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping the product or cancel the order and notify you of such cancellation. If the order has been confirmed and charged to your credit card, WhiteFlash will immediately issue a credit in the amount of the incorrect price.
