Paul Holewa, managing editor of Instore magazine, has been named the 2006 Trade Press Editor of the Year by the Jewelry Information Center.
The award was presented at JIC's third annual luncheon at Le Madeleine, Manhattan, on Aug. 1. Dan Kisch, the magazine’s publisher, accepted the award in Holewa’s absence.
JIC began giving the award in 2004 to acknowledge support received from industry press. Previous recipients are Hedda Schupak, editor-in-chief of JCK and Peggy Jo Donohue, former editor-in-chief of Professional Jeweler.
JIC is the public relations arm of the fine jewelry and watch industries.
