Result of AGSL ray tracing a 3D model of the diamond scientifically evaluating brightness, contrast, fire and leakage. For more details see our page on Light Performance Cut Grading.
Cut
Cut refers to Cut Quality, the most important aspect of diamond beauty. It is a measure of craftsmanship that involves the proportions, facet placement and finish of the diamond. For more details see our page on AGS Cut Grading.
Polish
The aspect of finish related to the quality of facet flatness and luster. Each facet should be polished to a mirror finish.
Symmetry
Also known as ‘meet point’ symmetry, describes the degree to which contiguous facets meet precisely at the proper places all around the diamond.
Fluorescence
Some diamonds react to strong ultraviolet light waves by emitting light, usually blue, in a process known as photoluminescence. More information can be found on our fluorescence page.
Eye-Clean
The ability or inability to see inclusions in a diamond with the naked eye. Our definition of eye-clean: No inclusions visible to the naked eye of a person with 20/20 vision when viewing the diamond in the face-up position at a distance of approximately 10 inches under normal overhead lighting. Distance, lighting and human vision all influence this judgment.
Culet

From day one, Becca helped me out with the process. I was able to get in touch with her over email and on the phone. She is very patient, explained everything so well, and took the stress out out of the process. She remained in touch throughout and kept me updated. She was very helpful with the stone and ring selection and sent really good pictures and videos of the stone once it was brought in by them. The ring I selected was originally meant for a round stone (and I wanted an oval), and she was quickly able to check for me if that request could be accommodated by the ring-maker. As for the website itself, the experience there was great as well. The filters present on the site for searching stones are great, and I was easily able to narrow down my selection to a handful of stones after I did my research on diamonds (which btw, I would highly recommend - it is pretty cool to know all these cool details about diamonds). The service (aside from Becca) was also very great. They were patient and helped me process my payment through my preferred method.

Becca was great answering any questions I had and providing photos and videos of the diamonds that I was interested in. Every diamond that they showed me was gorgeous and I ended up picking a 2.09ct from their precision lab. They held it for me with a $1k refundable deposit while we were discussing a custom ring. They were very patient with me as I changed the ring design a few times and worked with me until I was 100% happy with the design! After paying for the diamond and ring, it took a little over 4 weeks. It came with a Cherry Wood Ring Box, which is a little on the bigger side, and nice packaging, including all of the diamond certifications. I would highly recommend Whiteflash! The actual diamond/ Ideal-scope/ASET/and Actual Hearts images/videos of their vetted diamonds basically guarantee you'll get a high performance round diamond (if that's what you're going for)!

I contacted Michelle at Whitefish who had previously rendered excellent service to me in picking diamond earrings for my wife. Happily, Michelle was still there and happily she helped me immensely in sorting through diamond options and picking the right one. My wife was absolutely thrilled with the ring she got. The service from Whiteflash was outstanding with marvelous packaging and secure delivering. Can't recommend them strongly enough.
