After accidentally throwing out my 1 carat tw diamond earrings (I know, sickening!), I went on the hunt to replace them with insurance money. Becca quite literally guided me through the entire process. There's no minute like the last and my procrastination put me in a time crunch. The proposal was a success!!! I truly think the engagement ring is perfect. I was blown away at how bright the light return is. Also, I was very impressed at how dazzling it is even at a distance under indoor lighting. I can hardly believe how good the diamond looks. Truly, I cannot recommend Whitefish highly enough. From start to finish, working with them as a jeweler was a thoroughly enjoyable process and I always felt like I had more than enough information to make an informed decision, just from their website.
Working with Becca in particular was AMAZING. She was so knowledgeable and provided such great insights and real life videos and pictures of any diamond I was interested in, even helping me narrow down my search to a selection of diamonds and providing her honest thoughts on them beyond what the website showed. She is seriously the best. I feel so lucky it was her who picked up the phone when I called.
Now - on to the quality of an A Cut Above diamond. I am beyond thrilled with the stone. It shows incredible, blinding fire in full sunlight, dazzles in indoor lighting with seemingly infinite flashes, and in cloudy weather, when you can look into the stone without the fire blinding you, the only comparison I can make is like looking into a kaleidoscope. It looks like looking through a window into a box of mirrors that goes on forever. It is hard to even put into words.
I feel like I got more than my money's worth, and knowing my fiancée will always have the sparkliest, highest performing, best looking diamond of anyone she meets brings me so much happiness. Toss in the lifetime trade-up policy, and I don't know why you would look anywhere else.
Also - beyond the diamond, the ring they made is gorgeous. They were able to modify one of their existing models to my liking, and with a fast two week turnaround.
