As planned, I received the ring on Saturday and it is absolutely beautiful.
My Fianc?©e went to the FedEx station with me and waited in the car while I
went in to get the package. I implied I had to pick up a package for an
upcoming business trip to Chicago. At the FedEx station, I had to open the
package to put the ring in my pocket, so it would be available at the right
moment. The two girls working at the counter noticed what I was up to and
requested to see the ring. After several compliments, they helped me to
disguise the package to keep my Fianc?©e from catching on to the plan.
Later in the day, I nonchalantly suggested a picnic. I traveled to the spot
I had previously picked out at a 60 ft waterfall in Cuyahoga Valley National
park. We had a romantic picnic and I surprised her with the ring. With
tears of joy streaming down her face she happily agreed to marry me.
