Thanks again for making this such a smooth and pleasurable experience.
Thanks again for making this such a smooth and pleasurable experience. I do however, have a couple more request from you. The included appraisal did not have the total carat weight of the shank and I would also like to know what type of diamonds were used and the width of the shank. If you could also provide me with instructions on how to use the hearts scope, that would be great. I do realize that I probably wont be able to use the device on a diamond that is set, but I''d still like to know how to use it.
FYI: I did not get a chance to fully inspect the ring and setting but my overall impression of my choices are as follows:
The diamond: Exquisite in every way. The clarity of the VS1 is out standing!!! Even with the loop and AGS telling where to look, I was unable to spot any imprefections. The arrows are absolutely beautiful!!!
The setting: Not ""exactly"" like the sample picture, but still beautiful...The prongs in the sample were more tapered at the tips to make them show a little less. The inner white gold part of the shank seemed more concave in the sample. I believe there are a few minor imperfections in the prongs that I haven''t been able to really get a close look at, but definately could be my imagination. With the exception of imperfections in the prongs (which may or may not be there), I think the changes are for the better and truly set it apart from the sample in a good way. The height of the diamond in the setting is perfect.
The ""Ring"" : The proportions of are perfect. The size of the diamond and small width of the shank really make the diamond look quite larger than it really is. I thought the pave would take away from the beauty of the diamond but was surprised to see how they just add more sparkle to the whole picture. I just can''t say enough how pleasantly surprised I am at the overall beauty of the ring. I''ve gotten compliments from everyone who has seen it in person and in pictures. Girls have told me to show it to their husbands so that they can see what a ""real"" ring is suppose to look like!!! I did not do this of course because that just seems wrong to me.
Thats about it for now, but I''ll let you know more after I go over it with a fine toothe come ( after I pop the question). Thanks again for all your help, insight and for putting up with the constant questions and concerns. You handled my needs like a true professional and made me feel as secure as I could get while spending this amount of money on an item that I''ve never seen form the internet. I''ll be in touch.
