The diamond is WOW! First, I told Angie we were meeting my Detroit Soccer Team at a semi formal Meet'n'Greet. Earlier, I had it set in a loaned Tiffany Four Prong and then took Angie to the Coach Insignia Restaurant in downtown Detroit, MI. It is in the same building as the General Motors World Headquarters, some 37 stories up. She was suprised, actually a bit frustrated thinking I got lost. We enjoyed dinner and I proposed, she was ecstatic and we toasted to our future. The actual ring is being crafted by a jeweler in San Diego, CA. It will be ready for us just before we embark to the Islands of St. Maarten and St. Thomas. The jeweler from Wheat Jewelers in Okemos, MI examined the diamond and confirmed its brilliance.
