Howdy! In case you had not heard, I proposed to my girlfriend Mary this weekend ?ˆ“ and in a haze of confusion, she said yes. Yeah, yeah, she doesn?ˆ™t know what she?ˆ™s getting into, I?ˆ™m sure, etc?ˆ¦. I?ˆ™ve heard ?ˆ?em all from people at work already, so feel free to tease and poke fun. We haven?ˆ™t set any kind of official date yet, but we are thinking some time this fall, down in Texas. My mother is extremely eager to help us make plans, so as we decide on things, we?ˆ™ll keep everyone in the loop. There was a lot more drama and excitement to it than just me popping the question, so we wrote down all that happened so we could share it with all our friends and family.
