Hearts on Fire vs. Whiteflash A CUT ABOVE

I began looking at Hearts on Fire in our search in a traditional bricks and mortar store. I had heard of Hearts on Fire (HoF) before and one of my friends had gotten his fianc?©e a HoF engagement ring. We were absolutely blown away by the brilliance, fire and scintillation of these stones. We were quite turned off by the price but kept coming back to HoF as nothing compared at any of the stores. I had a few friends who had purchased online and highly recommended it. I started doing a lot of research (months of it and day after day) and came across sites like Pricescope.com. Long story short, by far one of the most trusted online retailers on these boards is Whiteflash.com. After a few months of getting comfortable with the idea of buying a diamond online I began to truly realize just how incredible these diamonds were. I kept hearing how they would stack up against a HoF diamond (or better) at a much reduced price because of the huge (40-50%) mark up on HoF diamonds. My experience with Whiteflash.com has been absolutely fantastic thus far! Customer service has been TOP NOTCH. No pressure whatsoever. Complete class and patience throughout the whole process. Never once did I feel like she was trying to sell me something. In fact on several occasions she steered me clear of a more expensive option they had. Very knowledgeable and prompt in answering any questions. They are more than happy to arrange a viewing to put any questions you have to rest. I am in the beginning stages of doing a custom setting, and so far it has been a very pleasant experience. I decided I wanted to compare the Hearts on Fire diamond to the Super Ideal A Cut Above Diamond. I made sure to order identical G SI1 Super Ideal cut diamonds to fairly compare them. I ordered a diamond from Whiteflash and had it delivered to a 3rd party appraiser. Upon finally viewing one of these beauties, I can ASSURE you they are every bit as good as a Hearts on Fire diamond. However, it was once I took the diamond outside under a natural light source that I was COMPLETELY blown away. Dare I say it outclassed the HoF diamond to a fair degree. Not blew it away, but a slight edge to the A Cut Above Diamond from Whiteflash. It actually blinded me! It literally took me a few seconds to adjust the dancing light that was coming from this diamond. I would say the ACA diamond was nearly a shade whiter than the HoF. I would say the scintillation and sparkle are fairly comparable with a slight edge in contrast and ""flash"" or fire going to the ACA. The cuts on both of these diamonds is unparalleled. No doubt about it, the HoF diamond is world class and as good of a cut as money can buy. The ACA diamond is ABSOLUTELY on the same level as the HoF diamond. I dare say even A CUT ABOVE. Sorry. I had to do it. I would recommend the Whiteflash staff to anyone who is considering a diamond purchase. You owe it to yourself to at least have a look and compare! In fact, I have a few friends who may be looking in the near future. I will be sure to pass along my knowledge to them.
