Let me start by saying that I started this project as the typical overwhelmed guy, skeptical of online purchases like this and yet intrigued by the prices. I am also a complete research-aholic, and if you are reading this review you probably are too, and have probably seen all the glowing reviews on the Pricescope forums for this company. Let me then just add my voice to the masses and say that my obsession with making the ring perfect for my fiancee was creating near-unfulfilled expectations... and Whiteflash absolutely fulfilled them. I was one of the lucky ones who lived in the Houston area and got to be very hands on with the whole process. While my diamond purchase was not with them I was having them make a custom engagement ring and matching band for the setting. My preferences were based on custom designs I had seen made on the web by designers for a huge premium, and when Whiteflash quoted me their price I was amazed -- it was much less than others had quoted me for custom work. As far as the actual design of it, it is worth noting that here being picky paid off. When I received my first CAD, I was frankly unimpressed with what it would look like and spent a considerable amount of time with them trying to make sure everything was how I wanted it. Through and after these conversations, however, all my requests for changes were executed flawlessly, and the end result was spectacular. There was never any hint of doing anything other than exactly what I wanted. Each step was given to me for approval and when I had a problem with something they had no problem at all changing it. They were 100% concerned with my satisfaction and with completing my vision.
