Three souls, one heart.

The experience of buying an engagement ring and proposing has truly turned out to be one of the most enjoyable and exciting times of my life. The excitement began on January 20th after I received an introductory e-mail from Renee at Whiteflash.com. It peaked 30 days later with me slipping the most fantastic 1 carat+ unbelievably sparkling beautiful diamond on my girlfriend Michele’s finger. Renee you were absolutely right when I asked you if you thought I made a good choice of a diamond and you replied that I was “going to be blown away when I see it”. Renee, I cannot thank you enough for all the help and advice you gave me over those thirty days. You went beyond your role as a diamond consultant and you truly made me feel like I was being guided and helped by a most trusted friend. Oh yes, I want to include a few words about the other person in this equation and that person would be my fiancée 12 year old daughter Mikayla. Renee, I really won two hearts over thanks to your help. I so much appreciate you also taking the time to help me pick out a ring for Mikayla. As you know Mikayla lost her Dad to injuries from an auto accident when she was 2 years old. Michele and I started to date when Mikayla was 5. For the past (almost) 8 years I have done my best to try and become a good father figure for her but she always seemed to have placed(and understandably so) a protective shell around her and her Mom. When I proposed to Michele and looked at Mikayla sitting there watching, listening, and crying I knew immediately what she was thinking. She feared that someone was now trying to take her Mom from her. But you know what?!! Just like you said she would do, Ms. Mikayla is coming around. She has not taken the ring you helped pick out for her off her finger since she got it back from being sized by Whiteflash. I think we have really made some headway with that young Princess. She is even talking to Michele about our wedding plans and I know, even though she’ll never admit to it, that she is very happy and excited about us becoming a family. Renee you have been the best.
