I would and will recommend using Whiteflash to purchase an engagement ring and wedding band. I was surprised to find that they had equal or better prices to the other big online diamond sellers. I got a platinum band with 0.25 ctw in diamonds on it and the diamond at Whiteflash for what I would have paid for just the diamond at the local jewelry store. I was buying an S1 diamond and from my research it became obvious that these diamonds could vary greatly in the number, size, and placement of the inclusions. Thus, I really liked that I was able to pick out my specific diamond by reviewing it under magnification on the website. The customer service was great, and my ring was sent to me quickly. Best of all, she absolutely loves the ring. I would recommend at least getting an ideal cut, excellent polish, G color diamond and a platinum band. The added sparkle makes it worth the cost even if you need to buy a little smaller diamond - I have noticed how much more her's sparkles than her friends.
