I was fortunate to be able to choose my wedding diamond and ring. I spent 35 years in the purchasing/procurement business, so I know how to research products. I spent a considerable amount of time researching and educating myself on diamonds. I stumbled across a site called Stonealgo. It is amazing! Very helpful in grading and selecting a diamond! Would highly recommend using them if you are purchasing or researching a diamond. It is free! After considerable research, we selected a Whiteflash 'A Cut Above' diamond. Based on comparisons the cost was not much more than inferior stones. Also, the stones were in stock so Brittany could actually look at them side-by-side and provide me with her professional opinion. She actually recommended a bit smaller diamond but of higher quality than my original choice for only a few hundred dollars more. One thing I like about the Stonealgo site is that they give a 'visual carat size' as it relates to the actual carat size. In my case, the visual size look was larger than the actual. The staff was great to work with - no pressure, but lots of knowledge. Easy wire transfer purchase process. The packaging of the loose diamond was fantastic!
