My engagement ring turned out to be dreamy and buttery

Thank you for your help with selecting our stone. We are blown away by the fire and sparkle of our beautiful Whiteflash ACA. Even my husband, who normally isn’t particularly interested in jewellery, used words such as ‘incredible’ and I received a lot of compliments at our belated post-Covid marriage celebration last Saturday, when it was officially debuted. As for the colour and metal combination, with the all yellow gold it’s turned out to be dreamy and buttery, and I am enjoying the vintage vibe this creates. I am currently wearing it with a half eternity band with H-I stones, but can see a slight difference between them, so don’t think that’s completely ideal. It looks fantastic with other plain yellow gold rings though, and I might consider having a matching J coloured eternity band made at some point to complement it. I was also expecting that this stone would not work at all with platinum, however when seeing it in person, I felt that given the cut quality, it would probably even work when set in a white metal too, or at least with platinum prongs on a yellow gold band.
