CRJP Names Catherine Sproule Director of NA Operations

The Council for Responsible Jewellery Practices (CRJP) has named Catherine Sproule Director of North American Operations, as of November 1. Based in Toronto, Sproule completes a global triad of CJRP leaders including CEO Michael Rae, operating from Australia, and Program Director Santiago Porto stationed in Europe.
Ms. Sproule has served as Executive Director of Canada’s jewelry trade association where she influenced the organization’s efforts in the mining and government sectors of her country. She also built a profile for the Canadian jewelry market in the international arena. Previously Sproule held a senior position with CBC, Canada’s national television and radio broadcaster and was the Canadian Public Relations Director for the Diamond Trading Company’s Diamond Information Center. She joins the CJRP to manage finances and administration as well as interfacing with the organization’s members and stakeholders in the United States and Canada.
The Council for Responsible Jewellery Practices (CRJP) is an international non-profit organization that promotes responsible ethical, social and environmental practices throughout the diamond and gold jewelry supply chain from mine to retail.
