Jewelers Mutual Offers Identity Theft Services

Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company has partnered with Identify Theft 911 to provide a free identity theft service for commercial policyholders in the United States and Canada. These policyholders must be owners, officers or principals of their jewelry businesses.
The service, called Identity Theft Restoration Services, assists policyholders restore their identity and credit if they become victims of identity theft. This service could reduce the recovery process from several weeks to several hours, according to Jeff Mills, JM's Vice President of Commercial Lines Operations.
The service includes direct assistance with law enforcement agencies; preparation of documentation and contact with credit bureaus, creditors, collectors and government agencies; assistance in rebuilding identification and personal & financial documents and a full year or credit and fraud monitoring.
Immediate family members of commercial policyholders are also eligible. The service also offers assistance in rebuilding identification if a policyholder is impacted by a natural disaster, regardless of whether identity theft occurred.
