Hi Traci, This might sound a bit funny but I had actually already proposed before I purchased the diamond for the engagement ring. Despite what you might be thinking there was some method to my madness. The thing is my partner and I have been together for 10 years so I wanted the proposal to be worthy of the occasion. I proceeded to plan a 4 week holiday in Europe visiting a whole heap of places including the U.K, Italy, Austria, France Switzerland etc. As I was not 100% sure where it was I was going to propose (there are so many options) I was a little reluctant to carry around a $10,000 ring in my backpack for 4 weeks in unfamiliar territory so I purchase a temporary engagement ring. So anyways to cut a long story short I proposed in St Mark's Square Venice under a beautiful star filled sky to the sounds of classical music being played by locals in the background........truly beautiful. Which leads to now where we are actually getting married in 2 weeks, I collect all the rings including what will be the most beautiful engagement ring in 1 week (I know......... talk about leaving it the the very end but much like everything else I wanted the ring to be perfect so I explored many options before finally choosing you). I will be sure to send you photo's of the ring and of myself with my beautiful bride as soon as we get back from our honeymoon in Thailand.
