LOOOOOOVE IT! I'm sending it to my dad so he can wrap it and give it to my mom for her birthday. I have to admit, I wore it for a day for ""research"" purposes, hehe. I fully intend to get its twin one day! My first reaction was that I couldn't believe how white it faces up. As you know, I'm a lover of step cuts and I think for that reason I tend to be pretty color sensitive. Still, I couldn't see any warmth in the stone at all, even when comparing it to my F colored e-ring stone. I'm sure that the bezel setting does help since I couldnt really see through the sides, but I was really surprised at how little warmth an I-colored stone can have. Also, I couldn't even find the inclusions--one of the first things I did was whip out my loupe and even with the inclusion chart I couldn't find it. And I have both a 10x and 20x loupe, haha. Again, I'm used to my step cut, which makes it so easy to find anything, but as soon as I tried looking into the round brilliant, it was like a kaleidescope! I also really like the bezel setting! I was afraid it might be a tiny bit bulky, but it isn't at all. And I love how delicate the chain is! Oh, and I love that the chain slides through the bezel so that it stays centered at all times. When I wore it, it didn't flip on me at all, so that is great! Anyway, I really do love it and I know she will, too. You were so, so helpful Katie and I thank you so much!
