Whiteflash vs. James Allen vs. Blue Nile
I looked at Blue Nile and James Allen. Frankly, on quality and price neither Blue Nile or James Allen Reviews live up to what you guys did for me! The ring has blown everybody away who has seen it so far. I was lucky enough to be able to propose on a Bahamian island on the holiday of a lifetime thanks to a college friend. The 'fire' in the diamond really sets the ring apart - it catches the light so brilliantly. We were holidaying with other Americans (Houstonians no less!) - what I would say, without being intentionally offensive, is that others have opted for 'quantity over quality' - I noticed many 2ct rings that did not have the lustre, or had to be helped out via a halo etc to try and stand out - as if they were trying too hard.
Back in the UK, where diamonds tend to be significantly more expensive/smaller, the ring stands out even more. Lisa has had 3/4 comments on her ""rock"" in her office - naturally she is happy and proud!
I wanted to take time out to thank you all personally in managing the engagement minefield. The quality of service, information, packaging etc has blown me away. Not having a giant logo on the ring etc was a key point - the 'W' is subtle and elegant.
And the best of all was , she said YES!!!
I can't imagine how Blue Nile nor James Allen could compete, I really can't with plain certificates and a generic approach. You made the experience SO personal and we are 1,000's of miles away!
