Whiteflash is a Stellar Company!

After being married for decades, I finally decided to purchase a wedding band for DH to replace his old 18K gold Tiffany band (which had had to be sawed off in the hospital after a break). We wanted something unique and designed just for us. I have always loved W.H. Auden's poem, "Stop all the clocks", especially the lines: He was my North, my South, my East and West, My working week and my Sunday rest. Because I'm a bit of a romantic I wanted a ring that would remind me of this kind of love -- which made me think of lodestones, the North Star and the Milky Way. In the end, we decided on a random scattering of A Cut Above diamonds mixed with sapphires around the entire band to evoke the Milky Way and the North Star. We chose a custom 6MM platinum comfort band for beauty and wear-ability. The Whiteflash design team worked patiently with us to come up with the perfect design. My schedule was crazy and I was hard to reach during much of the design period, but Whiteflash was very understanding and accommodating. We had to tweak the initial design to get a truly random scattering of stones and stone placement, and Whiteflash helped us choose slightly larger diamonds so that the eye would read them as being the same size as the darker sapphires. We couldn't be happier with the finished design and the ring. The platinum is getting a nice patina, which really makes the stones pop out. The sapphires are dazzling in the sun. The diamonds sparkle even in very low light. DH admitted yesterday that he looks at his new ring all the time. So do I. A stellar design and finished product from a stellar company!
