Hi Bob, The ring was a big hit. She was completely surprised and loved the ring. She commented how the design was perfect for her (she actually ran her finger along the shank and stone saying it won't catch). Perhaps the biggest plus is that at a party a friend spotted the ring from across the room. That stone you helped me pick out really shines. She is really happy and so am I. Because this was a surprise, I had to get the ring size from her one and only other ring that she wears on her right hand ring finger. Turns out that both hands are not the same. I realize that this is extra expense and all but the surprise factor was worth it. We had her finger sized and it is actually a size 6, the ring is size 7. Can you tell me what are the options for us? Is it possible to size down this ring (with the melee in the shank)? What kind of risks are involved? I am impressed by the quality of the work so I would like it if WF could do the work. Is this possible? Another possibility is having someone on this side of the border; would you recommend that?
