A Perfect Proposal

My fiance knew that I had the ring and that I was going to propose so I had to come up with something special but also keep when I was going to propose a secret so that she would still be surprised. So I made up this story that my best friend was coming into town and I wanted the three of us to go out to some place nice since I had not seen him in a long time. In reality, I had no intention of meeting up with my best friend. The day we were all supposed to go out I told her that my friend had to do something with his parents and that he would meet us after dinner. That way she wouldn''t expect anything because we were still going to meet up with him later. After dinner I asked her if she wanted to go look at the church we were considering to get married in before we met up with my friend since it was only a few miles away. To throw her off again I told her that I would give her three surprises before I gave her the ring (I couldn''t just get out of the car with a big bag full of stuff and not have her know something was coming). So I told her she would get one surprise tonight and the other surprises another night so that she didn''t expect anything. We arrive at the church and walk into the garden area (with me carrying a bag that contained a pink rose, red rose, white rose, and a portable cd player with a cd of songs that I made for her). I asked her to turn around and close her eyes while I set up the cd player and roses. I then played the song ""She''s My Kind Of Rain"" by Tim McGraw, which I had told her weeks before reminded me of her, and asked her to dance. After the song I asked her to close her eyes while I got out the roses and held them hidden behind my back. First I gave her the pink rose which was for the past and how thankful I was that we meet each other etc. etc. etc. I then gave her the red rose which was for the present and that its deep red color was to represent the deep love that I have for her etc. etc. etc. Then I gave her the white rose, which I placed the ring in earlier, and said that it was for the future and how I wanted to marry her at this church. She took the rose and I got down on one knee. I took the ring from the rose and asked her to marry me. She said ""yes"" and we held each other for several minutes before she made me let go so she could ""see the ring"" :) Well, that''s my story. I hope you enjoyed it.
