As one of the most talked-about seasons of The Bachelor draws to a close, bachelor Ben Flajnik is down to choosing between the final two contestants: Courtney Robertson and Lindzi Cox. Fans of the show have already noted how this season’s villain, Courtney, who is one of the two finalists, was one of the most dedicated and driven competitors the show has ever seen. Over the course of the reality show, Courtney was seen skinny-dipping with Ben, trash-talking her fellow women, staging a mock wedding with the unsuspecting Bachelor, and trying on wedding dresses in front of paparazzi cameras. Now, spoilers have revealed that Courtney is, in fact, the recipient of Ben’s proposal and the dazzling Neil Lane engagement ring. Despite being nearly universally disliked by the fans, it seems that Bachelor Ben has fallen for Courtney’s charms and beauty—and her skillful mastery of the game of love.
But believe it or not, this won’t be the first time model Courtney Robertson is surrounded by cameras while wearing a gorgeous engagement ring and posing with a man. Long before The Bachelor, marriage must have already been on her mind, as photos from several years ago prove. In these ads, for diamond company Hearts on Fire™, Courtney wears a sparkling engagement ring, wedding band, and earrings from the company, while posing with a male model. In one photo, the couple are wearing swimsuits and kissing in the rain; in another, they wear formalwear and are lying in the grass. The engagement ring, clearly visible in several photos, features a pavé-encrusted band and a center stone with a dramatically raised profile. Is that the kind of Bachelor engagement ring Courtney will be expecting?
Although rumor has it that Ben and Courtney are already engaged, the finale of the show has not yet aired, so this year’s The Bachelor engagement ring has not been revealed. On past seasons of the show, the Bachelor was allowed to choose from a suitcase full of Neil Lane engagement ring designs, but as sources reveal to Reality TV magazine, Ben insisted on custom-designing a diamond engagement ring for Courtney. The ring is said to feature a dramatic cushion-cut center stone on a pavé-encrusted band.
So will Courtney be the recipient of the final rose and the engagement ring? Will their engagement last? Will the Bachelor finally marry and settle down? For all that more, tune in to the finale of The Bachelor on March 12!
